About Alec Szlachta-McGinn, MD
Dr. Szlachta-McGinn specializes in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery, female pelvic medicine, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, gynecology surgery, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic health, interstitial cystitis/bladder pain syndrome, benign vaginal mass, urethral diverticulum, congenital vaginal anomalies, mesh complications, pelvic fistula, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive care.
Dr. Szlachta-McGinn is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecologic surgeon and fellowship-trained in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. He specializes in vaginal and robotic-assisted laparoscopic procedures for pelvic organ prolapse; minimally invasive surgery for urinary incontinence; sacral neuromodulation; and surgical management of urethral diverticulum, vaginal fistula and mesh complications. Dr Szlachta-McGinn is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based, compassionate care that addresses the functional, psychological and social impacts of pelvic floor disorders. He is committed to a shared decision-making approach with patients, tailoring therapy to each of their unique goals in the context of their overall health.
