BJC HealthCare offers patients and providers a secure way to upload medical images to a patient’s health record. The easy uploader copies and transfers medical images from a storage device, such as a CD, USB flash drive, or DVD, using the patient’s computer.

How to upload medical images using the easy uploader 

• Follow the image-sharing instructions on the web site for a convenient way to upload your images with BJC HealthCare.
  • Enter an email address or phone number to receive an authentication code.
  • Enter the authentication code received via email or text message, check the boxes for Terms and Conditions and HIPAA agreement, and then click Confirm.
  • Click Choose Folder, then navigate to where the images are located on your computer, either CD/DVD drive, USB drive, or other storage location.
  • Click Upload. A list of all studies in that location will be displayed. Check the box next to each study you wish to upload and then click Upload.
  • A status bar will be displayed to indicate progress of the upload.

  • Once the Transfer Complete message is displayed, you may close your browser.

     

• Contact your provider by phone or by the Message function in MyChart to let them know you have uploaded your images to PowerShare.
